Meet Gautam Malik, President and COO
A dynamic, results-driven leader with an exceptional track record of significantly improving operational performance, developing profitable new products, managing multiple high-priority international projects, driving change, turning around underperforming areas, developing talent, and building high-performance teams. Gautam is President and COO of Gamber-Johnson and has P&L responsibility for a multinational corporation that includes 4 companies and 5 brands. A total of 320 global employees are part of the Gamber-Johnson group of companies.
Gautam holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pune, India; and a master’s of engineering in manufacturing engineering from the University of New Mexico. He is a certified quality auditor, a Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society of Quality, and holds a lean certificate from the University of Kentucky.
Centergy Engagement: I have been on the board of Centergy since Jan 2022. Gamber-Johnson put in $20,000 for talent attraction to support Centergy in 2019. Gautam has been a voice of Central Wisconsin businesses and has attended Central Wisconsin days for the last three years.

As we have grown over the years, so has our ability to support the causes and organizations that are near and dear to the hearts of associates, their families, product resellers, and end users. Community support and stewardship activities have presented many benefits including team building and talent attraction, higher employee morale and improved collaboration, relationship building, and much more.
Gamber-Johnson is also proud to support our team members by matching employee charitable contributions of $25 or more to a maximum of $500 per employee, per calendar year. Through this program, we proudly support the charitable organizations most near and dear to our team member’s hearts.
Expanding on its commitment to the partners and industries it serves, Gamber-Johnson employees are also encouraged to donate their time and talents to many area organizations and causes. Additionally, the company frequently donates and sponsors several events throughout the year. The beneficiaries of these contributions include a focus on those impacted by Gamber-Johnson’s products including causes that support first responders and their families. In the tragic event of a fallen police officer or firefighter nationwide, the company makes a contribution to the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) or the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Overall, we have contributed $55,600 to support emergency responders since 2017.

HEAVY METAL TOUR
Every year we open our doors to more than 200 area middle school students during the “Heavy Metal Tour” which takes place in recognition of Wisconsin Manufacturing Month. In an effort to address the expected workforce and skilled labor shortage, the event is in partnership with technical colleges from across the state of Wisconsin and gives students the opportunity to explore cross-sectional career pathways in manufacturing.
Our team members welcome the opportunity to introduce the company’s innovative manufacturing processes to students and express the value and benefits a career in manufacturing can offer.
We are committed to continuing and expanding its support of local schools and community STEM programs. As a supporter of STEM (an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), students are encouraged to engage in hands-on workshops, both at manufacturing sites and in the classroom, to learn about the many career paths available with an education in STEM. In addition, we are also proud to sponsor the Stevens Point Senior High School STEM team which competes throughout the state.
